Very shortly after Michael Strickland‘s arrest he began amassing a great deal of defenders. An article on Infowars was put up on their website describing his actions at the Don’t Shoot PDX and Black Lives Matter rally. The Oregon Firearms Federation also repeatedly posted about his ongoing court case on their facebook. We’ve previously published screenshots of the comments his white supremacist supporters have made and his article has much of the same.
Dan Sandini is the man behind Daylight Disinfectant, someone Strickland has worked with closely during Occupy, with both of them recording leftist organizing events. The Oregon Firearms Federation has decided to put up a donation page to pay for his defense and $250k bail. Michael Strickland is being defended by the Short Law Group. A curious thing happens when you click on that link to Kevin Starrett, who reportedly works with the Oregon Firearms Federation.
Let’s take a look at the kind of people who support and watch Dan Sandini’s videos.
We’ve reported previously on Strickland’s homophobia, white nationalist connections and how his youtube supporters call for a racial holy war so it is unsurprising to us that his public supporters openly and proudly adorn symbols of white supremacy and also curate a youtube channel for antisemitic and racist neonazi sympathizers.
Dan Sandini also allegedly prevented people from taking photos of Strickland at his arraignment.
